NBA All-Time Great Bill Russell Rushed to Hospital with Heart Problem
Earlier on Saturday morning it was learned that NBA Hall of Famer Bill Russell was rushed to a hospital in Washington, citing apparent heart issues.
As per TMZ, Russell was taken on an ambulance from his Seattle home to a nearby hospital on Friday night. The report states that the 84-year old Boston Celtics legend was having heart trouble and was dealing with a shortness of breath. There has yet to be an update on Russell’s current state.
Considered one of the greatest basketball players of all time, the 11-time All-Star was also hospitalized back in 2014 after collapsing at a talk in Lake Tahoe, although he recovered shortly after.
Russell recently attended Game 1 of the Celtics conference semifinals matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Heres hoping for a speedy recover for the basketball legend and ambassador.
