Melo to Come off Bench?

Rockets Reportedly Plan to Move Veteran Star to Backup Role

Could Carmelo Anthony be coming off the bench?

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, it is very possible:

It is questionable whether or not Anthony, who officially signed a 1-year, $2.4 million deal with Houston on Monday, would accept a bench role. When asked about the possibility at the end of last year, the 10-time all-star, who has started every game in his career, replied that moving out of the starting lineup was “out of the question,” despite a disappointing season in Oklahoma City.

Would the Rockets be best served moving Anthony to the bench, despite the loss of fellow forwards Trevor Ariza and Luc Mbah a Moute? And what would Melo have to say about it?
