Toronto Raptors Sign Adel, Collinsworth Ahead of Training Camp
As training camp nears, the Toronto Raptors are still putting together some finishing touches to their roster.
It’s been a busy weekend in Toronto as the Raptors announced the signings of forwards Deng Adel and Kyle Collinsworth. Financial information on both deals were not disclosed.
Adel, a rookie swing man who spent his last three years in Louisville went undrafted after averaging 11.2-points and 4.1-rebounds across 89 collegiate games. In his junior year, Adel averaged 15.0-points and 5.2-rebounds per game while playing in 33.1-minutes a night.

Meanwhile, Collinsworth last played in the NBA last season as a member of the Dallas Mavericks where he averaged 3.2-points and 3.3-rebounds in 32 games of action. The Utah native also played 20 games for the Texas Legends in the NBA G League where he put up 11-points, 8.8-rebounds and 5.4-assists per game. Collinsworth played our his college career at BYU where he was named the WCC Player of the Year in 2016 and owns the single-season and career NCAA records for triple-doubles with six and 12 respectively.
The Raptors roster is now set at 17 players ahead of camp.
