NBA Informs Teams of the Updated Projected Salary Cap, Tex Levels
With training camp quickly approaching , the NBA League office has informed each of the 30 teams of updated projected salary cap and tex levels for the next two seasons.
For 2019-2020, the numbers are $109 and $132-million. These numbers spike up to $118 and $143-million respectively the following season. The cap increase in 2020-21 is due to BRI projections as well as a projected shortfall-based adjustment.

Earlier in the year, the NBA announced that the salary cap was set to $101.9-million for the upcoming season, while the luxury tax was set at $123.7-million.
