LeBron James, Director of Black Panther To Work on Space Jam 2
LeBron James is going Hollywood.
It started with his move to the Los Angeles Lakers and now James will appear in the upcoming sequel of Space Jam. The film will be produced by the man who directed massive box office attractions such as Black Panther and Creed, Ryan Coogler.
The original movie was released in 1996, with Michael Jordan starring in the main roll.
“The ‘Space Jam’ collaboration is so much more than just me and the Looney Tunes getting together and doing this movie,” said James. “It’s so much bigger. I’d just love for kids to understand how empowered they can feel and how empowered they can be if they don’t just give up on their dreams. And I think Ryan did that for a lot of people.”
According to reports Jordan will have some sort of involvement in the film, while Magic Johnson and Lakers head coach Luke Walton are interested in roles as well.
Although we are still waiting anxiously for more details about the film, the wait is finally over. Space Jam 2 is coming!
