Miami Heat Ink Justice Winslow to 3-Year, $39-Million Extension
The Miami Heat have officially locked up another one of their younger players.
On Friday, the team announced a three-year, $39-million extension with Justice Winslow. The final year of the deal is a team option. The deal between Roc Nation, Winslow’s representatives, and Pat Riley was completed prior to the start of the weekend.
The move comes after failed talks with the Minnesota Timberwolves surrounding a potential Jimmy Butler trade.
The Duke alum played 68 games last season with the Heat and averaged 7.8-points, 5.4-rebounds, and 2.2-assists per game.
