Los Angeles Clippers Eying Kawhi Leonard, Kevin Durant in Free Agency
The Los Angeles Clippers are eying the big fish of free agency.
Superstars Kawhi Leonard and Kevin Durant are set to enter free agency this upcoming summer and the Clippers are said to be ready as per Brian Windhorst of ESPN. A “revolutionary” plan is apparently taking shape on the west coast as the Clippers look to revitalize their franchise after parting ways with the trio of Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, and DeAndre Jordan.
The run for the two stars is being spear-headed by team owner Steve Ballmer.
The Clippers have been sending scouts and higher ups to Toronto Raptors games for a big chunk of the season.
The possibility of signing the two superstars has also become possible by some of the earlier moves made by franchise. The Clippers signed both Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell to team-friendly deals and have even been able to play very well despite the absence of a legitimate star.
