Raptors 905 Release Kay Felder Following Domestic Violence Allegations
Things have been going well for the Raptors 905
Off to a 9-3 start, the revolving door of young and talented prospects has continued pour in despite the departure of former Head Coach Jerry Stackhouse who has since moved to the Memphis Grizzlies bench. On Monday afternoon, the excitement took a halt as the Toronto Raptors’ developmental affiliate released promising point guard Kay Felder following domestic violence charges.
The team released a statement regarding the situation:
“On Monday, Dec. 3, 2018, Raptors 905 guard Kay Felder was charged by police in connection with an allegation of domestic violence. Raptors 905 have waived Felder, effective immediately. As this matter is before the courts, Raptors 905 will not comment further.”
Felder had been averaging 18.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 6.5 assists in the 11 games of action that he has taken part in.
