John Wall Planning on Heel Surgery, To Miss Remainder of Season
The 2018-19 regular season will be one to forget for the Washington Wizards.
On Saturday, it was announced that Wizards’ star point guard John Wall is planning on undergoing heel surgery, which will keep him sidelined for six-to-eight months – essentially ending his season. The 28-year old missed friday’s game against the Chicago Bulls to meet with a foot specialist.
Wall is expected to finalize a timetable for the procedure in the coming days, league sources said. https://t.co/SA0cK2Hcll

As per usual, Wall is in the midst of yet another All-Star season, albeit in a year in which the Wizards have failed to get anything going as a team. The team currently sits outside of the playoff picture at 13-23 and has already lost offseason acquisition Dwight Howard indefinitely.
Through 32 games, Wall is averaging 20.7 points and 8.7 assists per game.
