Kenneth Faried Bought out by Brooklyn Nets, Opts to Sign with Rockets
With a lack of front court depth following the loss of Clint Capela, the Houston Rockets have signed Kenneth Faried.
The 29-year old forward was bought out by the Brooklyn Nets this week and has been put on waivers. Once he clears waivers, he will be eligible to join the Rockets on Monday.
An incredibly athletic forward, albeit undersized for his position, Faried has come to be known for his tenacity on the court and aggressiveness on the glass. After making a name for himself in his time in Denver, he has failed to adjust to the current style of the NBA. His lack of ability to shoot and space the floor has forced him to lose playing time both with the Nuggets and the Brooklyn Nets.
Playing in only 12 games this entire season, Faried has averaged 5.1 points and 3.7 rebounds per game.
