World vs. USA Rosters for the 2019 NBA All-Star Weekend Unveiled

Call me crazy but I tend to enjoy the Rising Stars game more than the All-Star game. There’s just something exciting and refreshing about seeing all of these new faces and watching them as they continue to grow and develop.

This year’s rosters, in particular, should have every NBA fan salivating as both sides have real quality and star power. The two teams also look pretty balanced, which should make for an exciting, competitive game.

Luka Doncic headlines the World squad, where he will be joined by other marquee players such as Ben Simmons, Lauri Markkanen, Bogdan Bogdanovic, and Deandre Ayton, to name a few.

On the other side, Donovan Mitchell will lead the USA squad, where he will be joined by Jayson Tatum, Kyle Kuzma, De’Aaron Fox and Trae Young, among others.

It is an exciting time for the NBA, with so much young talent (national and international) to showcase. In fact, a strong argument could be made that several of these rising stars will one day be All-Stars, maybe even sooner rather than later.

The 2019 Rising Stars Challenge will take place on Feb. 15 at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
