Parsons to Return to Team After Memphis Grizzlies Fail to Trade Him
Well, this is an interesting situation
In what has been a hectic week for the Memphis Grizzlies, one that has included trading franchise cornerstone Marc Gasol to the Toronto Raptors, things are about to get pretty weird.
For the past few months, forward Chandler Parsons has been essentially banished from the team as the Grizzlies, in collaboration with Parsons’ agent, looked to find some sort of resolution. Parsons, who has been cleared by doctors since late December, has not played since October 22nd.
But after the Grizzlies failed to find a trade partner, it appears that Parsons will be making his return to the court following the All-Star break.
Parsons has one final year remaining on his contract after this season.
The Grizzlies acquired Jonas Valanciunas, Avery Bradley, C.J. Miles, and Delon Wright in a pair of trades at the NBA Trade Deadline.
