How did the Toronto Raptors Quartet Fare in Charlotte?
All-Star 2019 in Charlotte is in the books. Here is a quick recap of how the Raptors stars performed and what they were up to.
OG Anunoby kicked off the weekend, participating in the Rising Stars showcase, finishing with 12 points on 6-8 shooting as his World Team lost to Team USA 161-144.
He almost stole the show with a 360 between the legs slam:

Danny Green took center stage on Saturday and represented the Raptors admirably! In his first ever NBA three-point contest, he put up a valiant effort, finishing in 4thplace with a total of 23. I also didn’t realize how quick of a release he has until watching him in the shootout.

Off the court, he spent some time giving back to the community:
He also showed that he is a man of many talents, showing off of commentator talents:
Kyle Lowry didn’t fare so well on the court, finishing with a team-low three points on 1-5 shooting from three, to go along with three rebounds and three assists in 12 minutes. On the bright side, he didn’t get hurt and will hopefully rest up during the break and come back to action reinvigorated.
He shared his humbleness and gratitude for being selected as an All-Star via instagram:
Kawhi Leonard had a huge weekend, ironically making a bigger splash off the court than in the actual game. Kawhi finished the All-Star game with 19 points and 5 rebounds, and unsurprisingly played only 19 minutes, the fewest of any starter.

He debuted his first New Balance basketball shoe:

…with the fitting Times New Roman font. I’m starting to envision the commercials..”He is the most simple man in the world”.
Overall, all of the Raptors involved in the All-Star festivities seemed to have enjoyed themselves. Now it’s time to get back to work and prepare for the stretch run!
