Raptors Re-Sign Jodie Meeks for the Rest of the Season
Guess who’s back?
After a short stint with the Toronto Raptors about a month ago, the team has decided to bring Meeks back for the remainder of the season. The news were first reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic.
The 31-year old only appeared in only two games for the Raptors, but left a solid impression in his February 24th debut against the Orlando Magic when he scored 10 points in 17 minutes, which included two three-pointers. He only played seven minutes the following game, but contributed with five points off the bench.
The Raptors have been shooting the three-pointer a lot better of late, but this move adds extra wing depth behind Patrick McCaw and Norman Powell.
The Raptors have eight game remaining before the postseason begins.
