Phoenix Suns Sign Chinese League Star to Two-Year Deal
Jimmer Fredette is back!
A college superstar turned NBA bust turned Chinese League legend has taken his talents back to the NBA in an attempt to re-establish himself as an NBA player.
Earlier today, The Athletic’s Shams Charania broke the news that the Phoenix Suns have signed Fredette to a two-year deal. The second season is reportedly a team option.
A scoring machine in Asia, Fredette averaged 36.0 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game this season as a member of the Shanghai Dongfang.
Fredette hasn’t appeared in an NBA game since the 2015-16 season.
