Rockets Worried About James Harden’s Eyesight Leading into Game 3
Down 2-0, facing a must-win game tonight at home in game 3, the last thing that the Rockets need is their main guy hampered by injury.
Midway through the first quarter of game 2, Warriors forward Draymond Green poked Harden in the eye. Harden suffered a cut on the inside of his left eyelid and contusions to both eyes. He did return to the game finishing with 29 points, but conceded that his vision was “pretty blurry” and that his eyes were sensitive to the light.
Harden has since visited doctors with sources close to the team saying that there is no damage to his corneas and that he should be ready to go for game 3, but if Harden is anything short of 100% it could severely decrease the Rockets chances of battling back in this series.
