DeMarcus Cousins’ Status Switched to Active for Game 1 of the Finals
Kevin Durant is still a no-go, but the defending champs are receiving some back-up for the start of the NBA Finals.
This morning, the Golden State Warriors have announced that DeMarcus Cousins will be active tonight after being listed as questionable at the start of the week. Cousins, who has not played since Game 2 of the first round of the NBA Playoffs, is returning from a torn quadricep muscle which initially ruled him out for the remainder of the playoffs.

Questions still remain regarding his conditioning and Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr even stated that he was hesitant to activate Cousins despite claiming he is “healthy enough” to play if tonight was a regular season game. It is unknown at this point whether Cousins will be playing on minute restrictions tonight.
OG Anunoby of the Toronto Raptors remains questionable for tonight’s game.
