NBA Community Congratulates the Toronto Raptors on First Finals Berth
For the first time in franchise history, the Toronto Raptors are heading to the NBA Finals.
After trailing for most of the game, the Raptors used a huge, late run to take over the lead and hold on for an eventual 100-94 victory, extinguishing the Milwaukee Bucks in six games. They will now go onto face the Golden State Warriors, who will be aiming to win their third NBA championship in a row and their fourth in the past five years.
Their Finals date is a story for a future date, as today is all about celebrating a memorable and triumphant moment in Raptors history. Many within NBA circles jumped to Twitter to join the We The North movement in celebrating and congratulating a resilient Raptors squad.
