Klutch Sports Looking to Partner with William Morris Endeavor
It’s hard to tell who’s busier this offseason, LeBron James or the Los Angeles Lakers.
Earlier in the day, Darren Rovell revealed that Klutch Sports Group is “is in talks to partner” with William Morris Endeavor, one of the biggest talent agencies across all sports. Currently, Klutch Sports, run by Rich Paul, specializes in player contracts and don’t do as much in terms of talent acquisition.
That being said, Paul has a stacked roster, which includes the likes of LeBron James, Ben Simmons, Anthony Davis, John Wall, and Draymond Green.
While the terms of the discussion have not been disclosed, Rovell claims that Klutch is by no means for sale and a partnership would not result in WME absorbing Klutch. With that in mind, it is very clear as to how both sides come out on top if a deal is struck. The relationship would essentially eliminate the middleman as well as the possibility that a player would sign with one company or the other.
Clearly Paul, James, and Klutch are looking to make some big moves.
