CP3, Capela Available in Trade Talks as Rockets Look to be Aggressive
Expect an aggressive Houston Rockets team this Summer.
The second round of the Western Conference Finals was a tough pill to swallow for the Rockets and it seems inevitable that changes will be coming.
With the exception of James Harden, who has a chance at being named a two-time NBA MVP this June, the Rockets are more than willing to make everyone else available in trade if it means improving the current roster. Chris Paul and Clint Capela are two names that have been thrown around in rumours, although Paul’s three-year, $120-million guaranteed contract will be a tough sell for many teams.
According to reports, the Rockets have shown “aggressive desire to improve roster with all players and picks available in talks” with other teams.
The Rockets have been eliminated by the Golden State Warriors in three of their last four postseason runs and this season in particular, after tying the series up at 2-2, the Rockets were unable to take advantage of Kevin Durant going down with a strained calf injury.
