
Luka Doncic, Trae Young Headline 2018-19 NBA All-Rookie Teams
Swapped on Draft day, Luka Doncic and Trae Young finished their rookie campaigns as unanimous selections for the NBA All-Rookie First Team.
Rounding out the First Team are Phoenix Suns centre DeAndre Ayton (195 points; 95 First Team votes), Memphis Grizzlies’ Forward Jaren Jackson Jr. (159 points; 60 First Team votes) and Sacramento Kings forward Marvin Bagley III (156 points, 56 First Team votes). Both Young and Doncic received votes on each of the 100 ballots, spelling 200 points for both guards.

In a year of rebuilding, the two rookie sensations have very quickly became the focal points of their respective franchises, cementing themselves as future superstars in this league.
The 2018-19 NBA All-Rookie Second Team was led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Los Angeles Clippers. He was joined by Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Collin Sexton, Clippers guard Landry Shamet (who played the first part of the season with the Philadelphia 76ers), New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson, and Hawks guard Kevin Huerter.
