What are the Best Bets of the NBA Conference Finals?
Just because there are only two series remaining doesn’t mean that our chances of making money have passed! Yes, we will have to be more selective and perhaps not get the odds we want, but there are some nice opportunities remaining out there.
Here are my best Conference Final bets. (Note: odds are from Bet365 and BetWay).
Milawaukee Bucks -1.5 Series Handicap vs. Raptors (1.83 / -120)
It pains me to bet against my beloved Raptors but you have to think their run ends here.
The Milwaukee Bucks have continued to look dominant throughout the playoffs and what’s terrifying is that you get the sense that Giannis hasn’t even hit top gear yet. Frankly, the Bucks have gotten so much production from their bench and role players that Giannis hasn’t needed to be spectacular. We know that the Raptors go as Kawhi goes, and unless the Raptors role players significantly elevate their play, it’s hard to see the Raptors beating the Bucks.
The bottom line is that if Kawhi and Giannis guard eachother and limit one another’s productivity, then which team has the better supporting cast? The answer is the Bucks, and at -120 on the -1.5 series handicap, I think they can win this series in 6 games.
Warriors To Be Winning Series After 4 games (1.80 / -125)
Here we have to get a little creative.
The Warriors are heavy favourites to win the series and the odds aren’t great on the -1.5 series handicap either. But no problem, I think the Warriors win the first two games at home and steal either game 3 or game 4 in Portland, to cash this -125 bet for us. Before making this bet, you may want to double check on the status of Kevin Durant. If the Warriors confirm that he will remain out indefinitely, then it may payoff to be patient and wait another day is the odds may improve, but either way, I think the Warriors should have little trouble with a beat-up, fatigued Blazers squad.
