Los Angeles Lakers Acquire Davis for Ball, Ingram, Hart, 3 Round Picks

Anthony Davis is moving to the Los Angeles Lakers! LeBron James has gotten the superstar he’s been looking to join forces with.
Suddenly, the Los Angeles Lakers have a scary core heading into one of the most anticipated offseasons in NBA history. With Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson likely out for the remainder of next year, and uncertainty revolving Kawhi Leonard’s future, the Lakers have found their opening in the form of landing yet another top-five player in the league.
The Pelicans have agreed to a deal to trade Anthony Davis to the Lakers for Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, and three first-round picks – including the No. 4 overall in 2019 Draft, league sources tell ESPN.

Nearly 48 hours following the conclusion of the 2019 season, the Lakers have acquired Davis for Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, and three first round picks, including their fourth overall pick in the upcoming June Draft. The Pelicans now control two top-five picks this year, including the first overall selection, which will more than likely be Duke superstar Zion Williamson.
Retaining Kyle Kuzma in the trade, the Lakers will now commence a long and intriguing offseason of building around it’s new franchise centrepiece.
The entire landscape of the NBA has just shifted.
