Some NBA Champion Raptor’s Return to Toronto to Hero’s Welcome
After a rowdy detour in Las Vegas, a few members of the NBA champion Toronto Raptors made their way back to Toronto on Saturday evening.
Of course, more will pile in for the championship parade slated for Monday morning, but those that arrived last night, received a hero’s welcome. With up to 2 million fans expected to be at the parade, some few hundred of fans withstood yet another rainy evening to cheer on their returning Raptors.
Fred VanVleet, Jeremy Lin, and Marc Gasol were among the returnees, bringing “Larry O-B” north of the border.
And not a single person had more fun than Raptors rookie head coach Nick Nurse, giving all the Raptors fans high fives before you know, clearing customs, and doing all of that boring stuff.
This team is ready for the parade!
