Hefty Ticket Prices for the Biggest Game in Toronto Raptors History

Hoping to watch the Raptors make history live in Game 5? Open up the wallet and pony up because it’s going to cost you. How much? As of Sunday morning, the cheapest tickets for Game 5 at Scotiabank arena on the website Stub Hub are $3,238.

These tickets are in the 300 level (upper-most area), called the Fan Zone, which are typically the most affordable and cost anywhere from $80-$180 in the regular season. On the other extreme are the courtside seats. If you want to join Drake get the best seats in the house, it’s going to cost you around $60, 000.

Now, obviously these prices seem completely absurd, but keep in mind that you have fans purchasing tickets from not only all across Canada, but from all across the world. In other words, there is a global demand for tickets that are driving up ticket prices to these incredible levels.

This all probably partly explains the huge audiences in the various Jurassic Park locations across Ontario. With so many die-hard Raptors fans wanting to experience history but not being able to afford some of the outrageous ticket prices, the next best thing is a Jurassic Park.

Rest assured that the Raptors front office is enjoying all aspects of this playoff run. The team is a game away from winning a title, and the profits they have been generating throughout the playoffs must be record-setting, recently making the Raptors the most valuable professional sports franchise in Toronto.
