Jeremy Lin Struggling to Cope with Free Agency, Hit “Rock Bottom”
It seems like it was just yesterday when Lin-sanity was running wild.
Now, just six years later, recently crowned NBA champion Jeremy Lin is sitting impatiently, waiting for his phone to ring from an NBA suitor. As most of the game’s free agents have since been claimed, times are growing dire for Lin who is still hopeful of receiving one more NBA opportunity.
“Free agency has been tough because I feel like, in some ways, the NBA has given up on me,” said an emotional Lin while speaking in Taiwan. “Rock bottom seems to be getting more and more rock bottom for me.”

Although Lin hopes to still land with an NBA team, he has received interest abroad, most notably from Russian powerhouse CSKA Moscow. Since entering the league out of Harvard, Lin has since played with eight different NBA teams.
The potential of a reunion between Lin and the Toronto Raptors appears to be unlikely.
