Marcus Morris, Noel Fire Agent Rich Paul Amid Free Agency Drama
Not everyone is perfect.
Not even the kingpin agent, Rich Paul of Klutch Sports who has lost a couple of big name clients this weekend.
New York Knicks forward Marcus Morris and Oklahoma City Thunder center Nerlens Noel have both fired Paul after both players have been involved in some confusing free agency mishaps over the past couple of weeks. Noel originally signed a new deal with the Thunder before backing out in order to restructure his contract with the franchise. Meanwhile, Morris first verbally agreed to sign with the San Antonio Spurs for two-years, $20-million before retracting his commitment, opting to sign with the New York Knicks on a one-year, $15-million deal.
Furthermore, Morris allegedly rejected a $41-million deal from the Los AngelesClippers before getting involved in a weird situation with the Knicks and Spurs.
Rich Paul has risen the ranks to become one of the more powerful agents in the sport. His clients include LeBron James, Anthony Davis, John Wall, and Ben Simmons among others.
