Dallas Mavericks Superstar Duo Putting in Offseason Work in the Gym

With Kristaps Porzingis expected to be ready to go for the start of training camp, the expectations surrounding the Dallas Mavericks are higher than they have been at any point in the last half decade.

The 2019-20 season is a passing of the guard year.

With Dirk Nowitzki stepping away from the Mavericks, a team with which he won an NBA championship and entering retirement, the Mavs are looking to get younger, better, and more explosive. Those expectations hinge on the shoulders of their two young stars in Porzingis and the reigning Rookie of the Year Luke Doncic.

With such a big season coming up for the young duo, Doncic and Porzingis have been putting in time at the gym and throwing around some serious weight. Both players have relatively skinny frames and the goal for this offseason was really quite clear – fill out and get stronger.

We should assume a scary young tandem in Dallas for years to come!
