First DeMarcus Cousins, now Kyrie Irving.
What has happened to pick-up basketball?

The Brooklyn Nets announced that Irving has suffered a facial fracture on the left side after catching an elbow at the team practice facility on Wednesday. He will not require surgery, but the Nets free agent acquisition is listed as day-to-day with training camp officially kicking off on Saturday.
The injury is not believed to be serious and Irving is expected to play at some point during the preseason and be ready to go for the start of the regular season on October 23 against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
