Joe Johnson Wins BIG3 Championship, to Tryout for NBA Teams

With his sixth game winner of the season, MVP Joe Johnson knocked down the championship-winning three pointer in the BIG3 Finals.

The 38 year old looked like his absolute best from the start of the season, dominating the three-on-three format and even accumulating the most points ever scored in a single BIG3 Campaign. Iso Joe averaged 21.9 points per game (games can only go up until 50) and even led the league with 3.9 assists per contest.

According to Marc Spears of ESPN, Johnson’s elite play has warranted him looks from NBA teams. He has reportedly already worked out for the Philadelphia 76ers and plans to workout for the Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Clippers, Detroit Pistons, Brooklyn Nets and the Denver Nuggets.

Johnson last suited up in the NBA during the 2017-18 season where he saw 55 games of action with the Utah Jazz and the Houston Rockets
