LeBron James Files Application to Trademark “Taco Tuesdays”

This was just bound to happen, I mean, we’re talking about the business savvy LeBron James over here.

Seemingly all Summer long, we have seen LeBron James celebrating Taco Tuesday every Tuesday on social media with various people, be it his family, individuals from the Space Jam movie crew, and even new Los Angeles Laker Anthony Davis.

The Taco Tuesday fever is never-ending.

So get used to even more of it because earlier in the week, a LeBron James owned company, LBJ Trademarks LLC has filed an application to trademark Taco Tuesday. The filing indicates that James plans to continue his popular Taco Tuesday social media posts as well as hopes to launch a podcast under the name in the near future.

James is attempting to monetize his Instagram videos that use the term that has caught on like wildfire.

As per the report, the application states that the goods and services attached to the trademark include “advertising and marketing services provided by means of indirect methods of marketing communications, namely, social media, search engine marketing, inquiry marketing, internet marketing, mobile marketing, blogging and other forms of passive, sharable or viral communications channels.”
