Per team sources, Cedi Osman and the Cavaliers have agreed to a very team-friendly four-year, $31-million deal, which will keep the 24-year old forward in a Cavs jersey long-term.
“Cedi epitomizes everything it means to be a Cavalier and we’re excited to sign him to this extension,” said general manaegr Koby Altman. “His work ethic and commitment to this organization and community are qualities we admire in a player. Cedi has also demonstrated daily his desire to expand his overall skill-set and we look forward to seeing his continued growth and development.”
Osman is coming off the best season of his career in which he averaged 13 points and 4.7 rebounds per game, while playing 32.2 minutes per contest.
Along with guards Colin Sexton and Darius Garland, the Cavaliers are starting to build a young nucleus loaded with potential.
