Cleveland Cavaliers Extended General Manager Koby Altman Long-Term
On Friday, the Cleveland Cavaliers extended general manager Koby Altman.
The deal is expected to be a long-term contract extension, which will keep the 37-year old in Ohio for the long haul as he continues to rebuild the roster. Altman initially signed a three-year deal in 2017 when he replaced long-time Cavs general manager David Griffin, who is now at the helm of the New Orlean Pelicans front office.
After going 19-63 last season, the Cavs have gotten off to a 2-2 start this season under first-year head coach John Beilein, who has made a name for himself on the college scene as the long-tenured head coach of the University of Michigan Wolverines.
