New York Knicks Look Poised to Fire Head Coach Dave Fizdale
When is their not drama at The Garden?
The New York Knicks are off to yet another rough start this season, sitting at 2-9 after a blow out Tuesday night loss to the lowly Chicago Bulls. The main story coming out of the loss, is the future status of head coach Dave Fizdale, who is reportedly on the hot seat yet again.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Knicks president Steve Mills is in the process of laying the groundwork for Fizdale to be fired. League sources close to ESPN suggest that Fizdale is very clearly the fall guy in the situation who will more than likely be forced to play the role of scapegoat for the Knicks ineptitude.

Meanwhile, the players continue to support their coach in the face of the swirling rumours.
“You’ve just got to stay together. He’s up to the challenge. We believe in him. We’re staying together, and like we said, we’re all-in with him and are just gonna keep fighting together,” said rookie RJ Barrett of Fizdale following last night’s loss to the Bulls.
Bobby Portis echoed Barrett’s statements, claiming the team will continue to play hard for their head coach.
“Just play hard for him, go out there and give it our all. We can’t control the wins and the losses, but we can control our effort level and just going out there and playing with the swag and intensity.”
What is an NBA season without more drama on a dysfunctional Knicks squad?
