Raptors’ Nick Nurse Named the East’s Coach of the Month for November
You could say life’s good if you’re Nick Nurse.
The head coach of the Toronto Raptors won an NBA championship in his rookie season and has now been named the Eastern Conference’s Coach of the Month for November. A depleted Raptors team has won seven straight contests and finished November with a 10-3 mark.

On the season, the Raptors sit in second place in the Eastern Conference at 15-4, while playing the majority of the season without two regulars in Serge Ibaka and All-Star Kyle Lowry. At this time, the Raptors rank fifth in the league in offensive rating as well as second in the league in defensive rating. They are also the best three-point shooting team in the entire NBA.
The Raptors will put their 9-0 home record on the line tonight against the Miami Heat.
In the Western Conference, Los Angeles Lakers head coach Frank Vogel won Coach of the Month honours.
