Indiana Pacers Assign Victor Oladipo to the G League as Rehab Continues
Victor Oladipo is nearing his NBA Return from an ACL tear.
The Indiana Pacers have assigned Oladipo to their G League affiliate, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. The Pacers are hoping to use this opportunity to help Oladipo get back into the flow of the game and get his feet back under him.
“I feel like I’ve gotten better in a lot of attributes, not only as a man, but my game as well. I’ve worked on things I normally don’t get to work on. I’m looking forward to showcasing those eventually. I’m taking my sweet time. As slow as possible. Feeling good, though.”
While practicing with the Mad Ants, Victor Oladipo played some fullcourt 5-on-5 for the first time.
This was likely an exception and he’ll return to playing only in the halfcourt for a few more weeks.

Oladipo has already been able to participate in live 5-on-5 practice for the first time since last January, but to this point it has been limited to just half-court play. The Pacers hope to get Oladipo back in the fold at some point after the New Year and believe that he can suit up for the Mad Ants in the next few weeks.
After a slow 0-3 start to the season, the Pacers have rebounded and now hold a 12-7 record.
