Kyrie Irving Set to Return from 26 Game Absence on Sunday Vs. Hawks
The Brooklyn Nets are set to get a big boost in their lineup.
Superstar point guard Kyrie Irving, who has been out since mid-November nursing a shoulder injury has recently resumed 5-on-5 practice, and is set to make his return to the lineup. The Nets, who initially appeared to be fine without the former champion, have struggled of late and have mustered up a 13-13 record without Irving in the fold.
The news were first reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

“Hopefully I get some game reps in addition to practice probably in the next week or so,” Irving said earlier this week. “It could be less than that, but I’ll give myself a week.”
Irving added that he’s got no limitations in practice “other than just keeping my shoulder maintenance program going before I get on the floor.”
The 27 year old guard will make his return on Sunday when the Nets take on the Atlanta Hawks.
