The night before will be dubbed The Flashback, as the Heat re-live all of the best moments of Wade’s Hall of Fame worthy career. On the 23rd, ESPN Films will release a Wade documentary.
Wade spent 14-and-a-half seasons in Miami, including the first 13 years of his career.A 13-time All-Star, Wade averaged 22.7 points per game in a Heat jersey.
“It’s been great,” he said back in April about his final season. “Coming into this year, [I was] a little uncomfortable trying to do a [retirement] tour. A little narcissistic of me. But I kind of wanted to give the fans an opportunity to say goodbye, and I wanted a chance to say goodbye.
“But the tour has kind of taken on a life of its own.”
