Golden State Warriors Superstars Set for Re-Evaluation in February
The Golden State Warriors may be in the midst of a lost season, but the dynasty is not over for good just yet.
According to Kerith Burke of NBC Sports Bay Area, both Steph Curry and Klay Thompson are set to be re-evaluated by team doctors in February. Curry, who broke his left hand at the start of the regular season is due for a check-up on February 1st. Meanwhile, Thompson will be re-evaluated at the All-Star break as he continues to rehab from an ACL tear.
Despite being sidelined, The Splash Brothers have been “trying to keep it uplifting” for their young teammates.
“It’s surreal that Steph Curry is on the sideline jumping around like a little kid and cheering for me,” said Warriors’ forward Glenn Robinson. “That’s the unselfishness that he has.”
Steve Kerr has maintained that Curry will play again this season as the Warriors aim for a March return.
