Philadelphia Sixers’ Joel Embiid to Undergo Surgery on Broken Finger
It is incredibly difficult to characterize the Philadelphia 76ers.
At times, they look like the best team in the Eastern Conference, but at times they also look like a complete mess. One night they blow out the Milwaukee Bucks, another night questions surrounding the on-court chemistry of Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid arise.

Well, the Sixers season has just hit another snag as Joel Embiid has reportedly tore a radial collateral ligament in his fourth metacarpal, or in english – Embiid broke his finger. He is set to undergo surgery and will be reassessed in the next two weeks. There is currently no timetable for his return.
Embiid is enjoying yet another strong season and is averaging 23.4 points and 12.3 rebounds per game.
In their first night without their star big man, the Sixers took care of business on their home floor, taking out the rival Boston Celtics by a score of 109-98.
