Toronto Raptors Use Off Day to Visit Children at Holland Bloorview
The Toronto Raptors spent the off-day giving back to the community.
With an extra couple days to spare before they take on the Indiana Pacers for a chance to set a new franchise record for consecutive wins, the Raptors took some time to visit children at the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. From Kyle Lowry to Marc Gasol to Fred VanVleet, the entire roster travelled down to bring smiles to the children of the hospital.
One of the true beauties of sports is the effect it has on people and the Raptors proved that very fact today.
Giving back to the community and helping put smiles on the faces of children is bigger than basketball. Tip of the cap to the Toronto Raptors organization for an exceptional Monday visit.
No matter the outcome of Wednesday night’s tilt, this is a win in and of itself.
