Celtics’ Marcus Smart, Among Others, Tests Positive for Coronavirus

As days go by, the number of positive COVID-19 cases in the NBA increase.

The past few days have seen a fairly sizeable increase in cases as Kevin Durant and three other unnamed players on the Brooklyn Nets have tested positive for the virus. Yesterday, it was revealed that Marcus Smart of the Boston Celtics tested positive as well.

Additionally, one member of the Denver Nuggets, two Los Angeles Lakers players, and three members of the Philadelphia 76ers have all tested positive for coronavirus. It is important to note that JaVale McGee, who was diagnosed with asthma, was not one of the Lakers players who tested positive for the virus.

Thankfully, there has not be a single serious case of COVID-19 in the NBA to this point. All who have tested positive have been dealing with either mild symptoms, or have been asymptomatic.
