Chicago Bulls Looking to Change Directions, Bring in New Executive
The Chicago Bulls are looking to make changes at the top.
With yet another disappointing season all but over, the Chicago Bulls are beginning a formal search for a new top executive to take full control of basketball operations. The organization has opted to move John Paxson to a strictly advisory role, while Gar Forman’s tenure with the franchise may be all but over.
Among the Bulls initial plans will be to seek permission to interview Denver Nuggets general manager Arturas Karnisovas and Toronto GM Bobby Webster, among other candidates, sources tell ESPN.

Now, its onto the future, and atop the Bulls’ most wanted list are Arturas Karnisovas of the Denver Nuggets and Bobby Webster of the Toronto Raptors.
Karnisovas is currently a front office executive within the Nuggets organization. Meanwhile, Webster has worked in the league office for seven seasons, prior to joining the Raptors in 2013. After Jeff Weltman left the organization for the Orlando Magic, Webster assumed the position of general manager.
Interviews are set to be conducted electronically starting next week.
