A day removed from the successful debut of his documentary, The Last Dance, many fans were shocked to learn that Michael Jordan earned zero financial compensation from ESPN.
Michael Jordan will donate all of his proceeds from “The Last Dance” to charity, via Forbes.

In fact, according to Kurt Badenhausen of Forbes, Jordan plans on donating all proceeds that he is to receive towards charitable causes. He is expected to garner anywhere between $3-4 million. With the COVID-19 crisis halting the normalcy of everyday life, the billionaire owner of the Charlotte Hornets will look to help as many people as possible during these dire times.
The first two episodes aired this past Sunday night and drew an average of 6.1 million viewers.
