Tulane University’s Teshaun Hightower Charged for Murder and Assault
This will not look good on a scouting report.
Tragic news came out of Georgia as Tulane University basketball player and NBA draft prospect Teshaun Hightower has been charged for murder and aggravated assault. Hightower led the Green Wave in scoring last season and was booked into jail over the weekend.

Athletic director Troy Dannen stated the school has “immediately dismissed” Hightower upon learning of the 22 year old’s arrest.
The 6-foot-5 guard out of Lithonia, Georgia was one of six people wanted in connection to an April 8 homicide. The victim, Devante Anthony Long, was declared dead at the hospital. Five of the six men in connection to the murder have no been taken into custody in Henry County.
Days after declaring for the NBA draft, Hightower averaged 15.9 points and 4.6 rebounds per game during his 2019-20 season. He played the previous two seasons at the University of Georgia.
