NBA Postpones 2020 Draft Lottery and Combine in Light of COVID-19

As we are set to enter yet another month of uncertainty, the NBA has announced that it has postponed the 2020 Draft Lottery and Combine indefinitely.

Both events were set to be held in Chicago.

The NBA is still holding out hope for a return to play this season, meaning it will be necessary for each team to complete their campaigns for the league to have all of the seedings set in stone prior to the Lottery. Moreover, the NBA still hopes that prospects can at some point participate in workouts for teams, although an entire combine seems very unlikely at this point.

The NFL recently held its draft virtually and it appears as though the NBA will follow suit once they put together a more realistic timetable in accordance to federal health guidelines.
