Spurs Will Travel to Orlando Without Services of LaMarcus Aldridge
The show will have to go on without a number of stars.
With Kevin Durant, John Wall, and Kyrie Irving all ruled out for the remainder of the 2019-20 season, the San Antonio Spurs added another big name to the fold.
LaMarcus Aldridge underwent shoulder surgery back on April 24 and will be unable to suit up for the Spurs once the league resumes play at the ESPN’s Wide World of Sports Complex on July 31. The Spurs were one of six non-playoff teams that will travel down to Orlando, Florida to participate in the league’s 22-team format.
Aldridge initially injured his shoulder on February 21 in a game against the Utah Jazz. He returned to play in San Antonio’s final game prior to the start of the hiatus.
A seven-time All-Star, Aldridge has averaged 18.9 points and 7.4 rebounds per game this season.
