TNT Sells Out All Commercial Slots for Remainder of Regular Season

The NBA is back and TNT will not be complaining.

According to the television network, it has sold out all of its commercial slots for the remainder of the NBA regular season. As the league began its restart format on Thursday night, TNT is booked shut until the playoffs begin.

“The good news is we are left with a season of just the best of the best. Every game matters. It is a short, condensed season and we didn’t have to sell for months, just a couple of weeks,” says Jon Diament, chief revenue officer, Turner Sports.

There remains some availability for the postseason, but according to Diament, that is expected to be filled up by the companies taking up ad time during the regular season – at least that has been the common trend. TNT’s belief is that playoff commercial time will fill up completely sooner rather than later.

Kia, American Express, Autotrader, AT&T and State Farm are all TNT staples and will have plenty of commercial time throughout the season and playoffs.
