ESPN Suspends NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski Over Email Response
Over the weekend, Twitter’s biggest name and ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski was suspended by the network for his email response to Missouri senator Josh Hawley over the use of social justice messages on the back of NBA jerseys.
“It is inexcusable for anyone working for ESPN to respond in the way Adrian did to Senator Hawley. We are addressing it directly with Adrian and specifics of those conversations will remain internal,” released ESPN in a statement on Friday.
Wojnarowski apologized for the email.

It is known how long Wojnarowski will be suspended for although he is expected to be a part of ESPN’s coverage of the NBA’s restart.
According to people close to the situation, Wojnarowski made an attempt to reach out to Hawley’s office personally in order to apologize, but did not hear back. The office did not respond immediately, but Hawley tweeted on Sunday that ESPN should not have suspended Wojnarowski.
Woj shall be back with a vengeance!
