Eliminated Teams will Leave Bubble Immediately Following Final Game

Zion Williamson has disappointed Adam Silver and therefore will not be able to take his sweet old time leaving the NBA’s bubble city in Orlando.

According to Yahoo! Sports’ Chris Haynes, the league will require all mathematically eliminated teams to leave the bubble immediately following the conclusion of their final regular season games. Players will be allowed to shower in a designated area, will receive a final meal, and will immediately be taken to the airport via their busses.

The bubble allegedly cost the NBA over $150-million and the league has no plans on extending its invitation to non-playoff teams for longer than necessary.

As of right now, the Sacramento Kings, New Orleans Pelicans and Washington Wizards have all been eliminated from playoff contention. The fight for the final Western Conference playoff spot is still ongoing with two games remaining. Currently, the Memphis Grizzlies hold a slim 0.5 game lead over the Portland Trail Blazers, while the Phoenix Suns and San Antonio Spurs are within a game of the eighth seed.

The eighth and ninth seed will take part in a play-in mini-round at the conclusion of the regular season.
